Chromeleon User Management

Chromeleon User Management includes the following utilities:

  1. First, use the  User Manager (CmUser Program) to create a User Database and define its details.

  2. In the  Security Activation Tool (CmSecure Program), enable the User Mode from the individual Clients of your installation and select a CmUser database.

The setup for both programs is located in the CmUser directory on the Chromeleon software CD. After having performed the Setup, you can start the programs by clicking Start > Programs > Chromeleon > User Management, and then select an option. Please note that both programs are visible on the Start menu only for the person who actually performed the installation:

 Tip:

Dionex recommends installing the Chromeleon User Management applications to a suitable network location, a CD, or a USB stick to allow modifications via the network. Make sure that only Chromeleon administrators with administrator privileges for the CmUser database can access this network location.
